Moderator Retirements: Alas, Poor TJHairball & Euroslavia, I Knew Them, Horatio

Two more of our hard-serving and long-working moderators have decided to step down from their posts. Wait, that should be hard-working and long-serving. Yes. Better. Hard-working, in this case, is Euroslavia, one of our most active Game Mods; long-serving is TJ, who has been a Forum Mod since before you even knew what NationStates was. Yes, you. Yes, that long.
Hopefully both of these guys will stick around the game; they'll just have to do without being constantly harangued and criticized for doing their thankless, unpaid jobs. I mean, it's not the path I would have chosen, but horses for courses.
But jokes aside. Euro and TJ have both put very large amounts of their time into this place, for which I'm sincerely grateful. Thank you! And best wishes for the future.
So long and thanks for all the fish! :p
Seriously, thanks for you hard work guys, you'll be missed.

That's a shame; I can't say I've had much interaction with either of them, but I know they've both put a lot of work into the site.
I hope they are simply standing down as Mods, and not leaving the site altogether. I'd recently started to notice TJ being more active around General, which needs all the calm and reasonable posters it can get. :p

TJ stepping down? What forum am I posting on?
Seriously though, thanks for the hard work that both of you did. Two seriously competant moderators IMO.

End of an epoch...nothing is truly static, isn't it? Heh, great job, Euro and TJ, on your service, though I may not always have agreed with you two on your policies...may the successor(s) of Euroslavia and TJHairball do as well as they, or better.

Best of luck you two, and a sincere thank you for all your hard work and efforts. I know you probably have heard more complaints than thanks, but know you -have- been appreciated.
Best of luck to Euro. TJ, I hope you get fleas. What? Are we required to upset about both of them? Fine. Best of luck to both of you... I guess.
No, seriously, you guys are a credit to mod-dom everywhere. I've had less interaction with TJ, but I've seen Euro repeatedly and patientily help generalites discover how to behave in a way that would not get them banned from the site. Granted sometimes that help meant a ban, but you gotta break a few eggs, right?
Thanks for all that you guys do and I hope you find the time to enjoy the site.
EDIT: By the way, is it weird that I've always wondered when Kat was going to cough up a TJ Hairball?

Good luck in whatever you do for the rest of your life and thanks for all your hard work and dedication. We'll miss you and I will certainly miss you (Euro, that being, since I actually knew you, and TJHairball for, um, seeing you around). Hope to see you around!

Good work Euro and TJ, i expect you've probably helped me in the past Euro when i've needed a nation reviving :D. And as far as TJ goes, the forums are always in such an excellent condition because of the whole team its a shame to see any of the team go.
Hope you both stick around a bit :)

Ohh! Ohhh!! Me! Pick me! I'd be a great mod! Me! Pick me! Me me me me!
..
Yes, how sad it is to lose such excelent mods. Now when will I get my mod title?

Brilliantly played. If you'd like to not be a mod, but don't want to seem like you're turning it down, the most effective method to make sure you're not offered modship is be to Il Ruffino. Simply brilliant.

That's not that long :)
Though they always struck me as good and fair mods, so they will both be missed. Thank you both for your time and effort!
You were an example for any new mods to follow. I hope to see you both 'round the forum :)

We didn't so much lose them as ... well ... misplaced them.
TJ wanders off into the woods from time to time, and he's easy to mistake for a particularly fuzzy bush. You know the hairs on the roots of poison ivy? Yeah, like that, but cubed.
As for Euroslavia ... who can keep track of all those new Slavic countries. He's probably still hanging around, but may be calling himself Macerroneous or something. If you see somebody new with a bunch of sticky threads hanging off his jacket, it's probably Euro.

:(
I'm gonna miss Euro.
If I remember correctly, Euroslavia shut down some of my earliest (read: n00biest) threads.
Sorry for being a hassle back then. Thanks for everything and good luck.

I raise my water bottle in their honour. I'd raise a glass but I rarely drink out of a glass anymore...I just refill my water bottle with whatever I'm drinking. In any case, I salute their long years of service and wish them well for the future.

Oh, this is sad. Just when the Bastard Mod from Hell had got Euraslave all trained up in the way he should go, he went!
*hopes he returns in disguise to the forums in top RPing form*
THis makes me want to sob. :( Bye bye lovely modables!
