Hataria, what the hell are you talking about?

If this is some sort of in-character tweak at you, grow a skin. If you think this is an OOC tweak at you, get a clue.

Stop wasting our time.

I think it's referring to what some of the players have described as H's "magical mole princess." This refers to a recent action of H's that a number of players regard as blatant GODMOD. Not flame or flamebait IMHO. Light ribbing at most.

... Surely it actually takes more effort than its worth to keep Hataria around now? Wouldn't it be easier (and better for the community) to ip-ban him?

It makes no sense to ban people for breaches of RP etiquette unless they insist on constantly crashing other people's RP's and being jerks. H doesn't seem to be doing that. If he bothers you so much that you want him banned, then ignore him. I'm not a mod of course, but that's my opinion.

H is a borderline case IMHO- considered annoying by many and certainly unpopular but to all appearances not malicious. To ban him would cross a line that is best not crossed.

His complaints might get irritating, but it would seem somewhat disproportionate to perma-ban him for it. Sort of like shooting someone in the head for singing "I know a song that will get on your nerves".

Actually, that would be entirely justified, but you know what I mean. :p

I think FOE is correct on this. Just ignore Hataria. It's not as if you're required to RP with him.

HR, you're a mod. There is no "think". You "know". Golly, next you'd have us believe that mods don't always agree and don't have a little book that tells them what reaction to have to a particular post based on the ideology of the poster. Geez.

On topic: Isn't reasonable for the mods to ask Hataria to maybe look for more agregious examples before using the mod forum, since he doesn't seem to have a handle on the gray cases at all. Using Fass as an example, not all of his mod threads result in a mod action, but certainly they demonstrate a good enough understanding of the rule to justify the number of instances where he notifies the mods. Continuing with the example he seems to understand well what goes in that gray area Mods need to examine. This doesn't seem to be the case with Hataria.

EDIT: And I certainly mean no offense, Hataria. I recognize that you'd just like to have a good time here like everyone else. The conflicts you're encountering are unfortunate, but I think it's pretty clear that the post you just reported doesn't even really come close to the line.

Hataria is a drop in the bucket compared to all the dumb stuff from General that gets reported.
