Aren't links to Phelps illegal? (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=12561915#post12561915)

Not trying to get anyone in trouble here--just asking for clarification. Didn't see anything specific when I looked in the One Stop Rules Shop, but I seem to recall it from the past.

Looking at the one stop rules shop I couldn't see anything that says it is.

Forbidden links: There is not, and will not ever, be a definitive list of forbidden links. Since we don't control the content of other websites, a link which was fine yesterday may be forbidden today. Each link is judged on a case by case basis, and occasionally the Mods will outlaw certain sites.What can't I post?

Any content that is:

* obscene
* illegal
* threatening
* malicious
* defamatory
* spamI'd say it's safe to say that Phelps' sites are "malicious". They are most assuredly banned, and the link has been removed.

He has been added, though, to remove future confusion.

Ok, I won't link to his sites anymore. Is it ok to link to other site about him? Like a CNN story on him?

We've talked about him before, and people link to stories about him all the time--just not to his site directly.

You can also, from what I understand, post his site's URL, but it can't be a link. It has to just be the URL.

This thread here (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=524487) in Moderation deals with all this as well, with Moderator rulings/statements, should further clarification/explanation be required.
