Removal of poll

I know Ifreann was just trying to be funny, but I didn't want a poll in my thread and just because Jolt's out of time sync servers suddenly made him the OP instead of me doesn't mean that the poll should be there. Could a Mod use his or her magic and remove it? http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=524409

Thanks!

I closed the poll. I don't think poll removal is one of my tools.

Well, best I can hope for then. Thanks!

What we can do, HR, is edit the poll options to meaninglessness. Which I've done.

I think Ifreann showed remarkably poor taste in placing that poll on your thread, due to an accident of Joltishness. There's a time and a place for funny. This wasn't it.

Wait...those poll options were meaningful to begin with?

I have to confess I did that in another thread this morning too, although it was only a minor thread that's died now. Still, in the interests of fairness, I'll offer it up to you as a sacrifice to the Great Mods.

For future reference, would I be right in assuming that adding polls on the basis of being Jolted is not permitted?

It's the same sort of thing as plagiarism, and it's generally ugly. Let's leave it at "not polite" without turning it into a ruling, shall we?
