Since the last thread (asking if we should report Oct3) was deleted, I'm assuming the answer is 'no'...and if that's true, maybe a little stickied post to that affect would prevent Moderation from being devoted to this issue? With a little reminder that it'd be great if people just ignored him and didn't post in his threads?
I think the point is not to obsess with October3. this could be another poster posting around a ban.
and by obsessing with October3, all we do is add to his "fame".

I used to moderate another forum, and you wouldn't believe some of the asshats we had to deal with there. This clown's small potatoes. This is the most dedicated mod team I've seen in my...well, let's not get into my age and how long I've been on teh intarwebs. :p Let's just say that I'm sure the mods here can handle him easily enough.

Then there was C*ntD*ckula. He was a pain, as I'm sure many of our older NZ players can attest to. This guy is small time. Hopefully he'll grow up and realise what a pathetic waste of carbon he's making himself out to be. I mean, seriously... spamming forums? What a sad, sad little person.

I think you're getting him mixed up with the Jackson spammer. For those who dunno about that, envision an almost nightly battle with obscene spam for over 6 months before we convinced the upper management that it didn't matter that we would be essentially banning all of New Zealand if we banned the guy's IP.
And then later the guy came back on a different ISP, which we tracked to a Catholic school. Max himself had to threaten legal action before it was all finally resolved.
So yeah. This guy ain't got a thing on asshats like that.
