Asking for e-penpals

I was wondering if the Mods and Admin would allow or disallow people from posting requests for e-penpals in the general forum?
I am asking for I would like to make some online friends with other people from other countries I would not have a chance meeting in real life.
If no, I understand.
If yes do you have some advice and guidelines when doing so?

I would venture to say that you don't need to ask for ePenpals to talk to people from other countries online. Just start a conversation or get in one one already going. :)
You are sure to be talking to people from many different countries right away. THere are people on this board from Holland, Sweden, Geremany, Ireland, US, UK, South America, Mexico, Canada, Poland, Japan, and more...

You might also want to try the IRC channel. It's a good way to interact a little more directly with the folks on NSG -- well, at least more conversationally than on the forum.

Both SB and Cluich are giving good advice. Just start interacting with people via means of communication that are already in use here, and then if you find someone you want to talk more deeply with, you can always just ask them to give you further contact information.

I noticed that and that is why I want to get connected to the people on this site.

Then jump into some of the conversations that you are interested in and get to know people. What better way to connect with someone than that?

talk with them, get to know them and allow others to get to know you. then by using the TG feature in NS, exchange email addys. no need to make a thread about it.
