Questions about Influence

Does it cost any influence to keep people on the ban list?

The invader in Holy Land has put at least 20 people on the ban list in the last couple of days.

I think it should cost them some influence for every day they keep someone on the ban list.

Noted. Let's penalize those delegates and founders who ban people for entirely legitimate reasons (spam, abuse) while we're at it. Or should we have different categories ("they deserved banning" = 0 influence; "I'm just being a bastard" = cumulative influence) and trust everyone to use them correctly?

It costs influence to ban somebody in the first place. I think that's all you're going to get out of us at this point.

okay, you have a point.

So, how many minnows can a Delegate eject and ban per day before losing a level? Are there figures for that?

We do not publicize any of the details of influence. The exercise is left for the edification of the student. However, a careful reading of the Rules of Influence (http://www.nationstates.net/pages/influence.html) may provide the answer you seek.

Fris, have you realised the effect that your "Look, mate, I can't exactly tell you, but ..." post has when combined with that sinisterly winking avatar of yours?

I mean, it makes me think of Moderation as the sort of dark alley that, if you venture down, you might get mugged in ...

Oh it is. Hack likes stealing pennies while Fris likes to use cloriform on you and steal your dust bunnies.
