Flaming or trolling, I'm not sure...

http://necroticobsession.com/bb/images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gifIt's amazing the anger produced in someone just because his uncle made him touch his "captain winkey" when he was a kid.

What's the matter? Life got you down? Everyone else is out there getting laid and having fun while you're stuck in the basement with your kiddy porn?

It's okay, guy. There are counselors that can help you come to grips with all those memories of laying awake at night, knowing that at anytime your drunk uncle was going to come in to your room and put his "captain winkey" in your "little firehouse." Do you still remember the smell of Whiskey on his breath? Was it JD or did he drink that cheap garage made stuff?

Are you still hurt by the fact that all your first sexual experience had to say to you was, "Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" "Baaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" Or was it, "Mooooooo."

Put the peanut butter down and put the dog back in the backyard. Get your fat ass on a treadmill, lose some weight and maybe a little anger over your unfortunate introduction to incest and maybe you can find a sexual partner that can talk and doesn't walk on all fours. ;)

But I'm pretty positive there's something wrong with that.

To answer your question, it was flaming. Might earn me a littel time out of the sandbox, but when someone posts something like this to me:

I hope you die within a week.:upyours: :upyours:

Yet another 'tard who's been sucked in by the bullshit Harley mystique. I've never understood the appeal of Harley's. The fact that the company has been through bankruptcy more then 20 times tells a lot about their business and accounting model, ie, that they have their heads up their asses.

The quality and reliability level is on par with a Yugo.

And you seem ot think it's flantabuolous that you interrupted and annoyed another people as well as flagrently violated several local noise ordinances. Not that you give a fuck about any of that, 'cause you've finally got a Harley.

You know what that sound is?

The huge silence of no one giving a crap about you or your loser taste in motor vehicles. It's kinda hard to behave. ;)

lol...oh my...

I'm not sure what it is really. You can typically make these types of things "into" a rule violation as easily as you can say it isn't one...just depends on the mood and interpretation of a mod.

Anyway...you might want to post a link to the post or thread that actually came from. I can make you say:

Steel Butterfly is gorgeous

...but without proof of you actually typing it...lol...who knows if it happened or not

If you hit the little green arrow at the top of the quote, it takes you to the post.

I must say, that was one of the most clever counterflames I have ever seen.

The moderators have stated repeatedly in the past that one person's actions or misdeeds do not make an excuse for your own poor behaviour - hard to resist or not. Admitting outright in Moderation that you were aware of this and the possible consequences with a rather flippant attitude about them isn't likely going to garner you points with them - again, based on previous statements. I expect we're likely to see similar statements here once they get to it.

And yes. Green arrows=direct links. Has been that way for some time now. Quick, easy, convenient.

Thanks, Mrs. Nathicana. I'll take that under advisement. As I said, I'll take my medicine and not complain. In the meantime, if the mods see fit to allow someone who in a mere 60 posts has been able to accumulate a post history like this round:

http://forums.jolt.co.uk/search.php?searchid=671452

then I think they'll continue to see a lot of otherwise cooperative members break their rules. ;)

Threatening more bad behaviour if you don't get your way isn't likely a good direction to take either. *grins* Note the 'when they get to it' comment. They're not on 24/7, and they can't monitor everything at once, so when threads are moving at the speed General ones tend to, I can imagine that it seems they're not acting fast enough for your satisfaction. No need to get in a snit over it.

Who threatened more "bad behavior?" I posted what I posted and I'm leaving it at that. I specifically said that if the mods see fit to kick me out of the sandbox for a while I wouldn't complain. I understand their job.

No matter the outcome of this, perhaps this "gloating over rule breaking" thread should be locked.

If/then - had to give you crap about it all things considered, hence the *grin* there.

I wasn't saying anything about what I'd do. I was saying that if you don't want flame wars going on in yoru forum then you shouldn't allow assholes like that to populate it. Not saying everyone needs to be nice - we're discussion politics, religion and the like so it should get passionate and heated, but what he said to me in my Harley thread would be fighting words in the real world.

No need to explain it when you plead guilty. I know what I did was against the rules, I know the mods' job is to enforce the rules. I don't feel sorry for what I did, but that doesn't mean that if they kick me out for a while I'd complain. That's their job and I'll take my medicine and live with.

Here's the thing. I loove riding my new bike. It's a great feeling. having said that there's no way you can get on a bike and not be cognizant of the danger you face. Everytime you strap on your helmet you know you could die that day. It's a danger you make a choice to take. This is especially true for a new rider. While I have ridden motorcycles before I have never really ridden one thsi seriously and I've never owned one. I just spent a whole weekend in a motorcycle safety course by the California Highway Patrol that talked about all the neat and exciting ways you can get killed on a motorcycle and the strategies and techniques needed to avoid them so you'll have to excuse me if I have no problem telling someone who says, "I hope you're dead in a week," in response to my thread to go fuck themselves. If he doesn't like my choice in a bike, he could react to the thread the same way Teh Pantless Hero did. Wishing me to die is so over the top to someone as sensative to the danger of my new hobby, a danger I choose to accept, as I am right now is so far beyond the border of good taste and tactfulness that you should expect a response. Straight up, if he said that to me in the real world I would have kicked the shit out of the little pussy ass bitch - even though I know doing so would be illegal.

PsyDan, two wrongs don't make a right, but man, your wrong was soooo much more right than Foofrah's. You should both be banned for flaming, but Foofrah's ban should be a bit longer for being really, really bad at it.

So let me get this straight...

Behind the back flaming in the Moderation forum?

Perhaps you should stop while you're...um...behind?

Wasn't behind the back flaming. It's just the truth of how I'd react. What he posted were fighting words, plain and simple and most people would feel the same way.
