Homework on NS.
I've always found it a little funny as to why NS banned homework on it's forums-I'm not questioning the rule, I'm just curious as to why it's not allowed. Any mod care to enlighten me?

Because it's not within the scope of discussing politics, current events, or the game, and because some here abused it into "do my homework for me".
Kat's a teacher by the way.
Just a little background for you.

workin on it ;)
year and a half left.
as for the actual topic, I just want to say that the homework ban is great. I really couldn't take any more "do my math homework" threads, or banal science questions that could be found in any science book/wiki.
as always, not a mod

Um, let's see....
You provide a curriculum for your girls which encompasses all the subject areas...
...from what you say, they appear to be intelligent, curious and to have knowledge that surpasses what other kids their age know....
...I dunno, sounds like a pretty good teacher to me.

Indeed. I don't teach in a public system, or even a necessarily good system, but I take such things to be ethical breaches.
(You should have seen the mini-explosion of indignence when someone on the business side of one of my schools asked my to do (note, that's do, not help with) one of my students homework for a university ESL class.)

Thats good, because I'm paying an awful lot of money, and spending a good portion of my life to join the dark side.
