into this thread: The Ashes (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=508096)?
As Monkeypimp said (here) (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=12207199&postcount=525), the latter thread has seemingly turned into the cricket thread.

I say please don't because it is a different competition.
Different form of Cricket, the other one was largely Test Cricket and specifically the Ashes.
One Day Internationals aren't either.

Maybe just let the current one roll on as the General Cricket thread, then? Although I imagine we'd then want a new one for the World Cup. Hmmm. Ignore the original request, mods. Sorry about that.

Merge or not, I don't mind either way. We'll definitely start a new thread for the WC though.

I'm all for a new thread for the World Cup as well.
Obviously i wouldn't expect one for each game like we had for the Football World Cup.

From what I could tell at first, I thought you meant cricket as in the animal that has a sound when something went dead. Than I saw that it was the sport.
Anyways, this is a very odd topic.
