Can I kindly ask why my "getting help" call wasn't answered

I know it's game-related, but I don't want to trouble you again using the "getting help" page. Here you can answer me just to bug off....

But still. Yesterday I asked for help concerning a region where a spying "nazi" puppet of mine lives. Here's what I wrote:

"Dear Moderator.

Apologies for the long message, but there is really a lot needing your kind intervention.

I kindly request that you take a look at the region "THE WHITE ISLANDS".

Apart from its WFE constituting "flaimbait", there is a lot of other illegal stuff about its nations:
1. The nation "Damned world" posted a message in the RMB saying "let the jew have his say. torture and kill him afterwards".
2. The nation "mekalia" has the motto "Death to infidels!".
3. The nation "stompy boots" has the motto "The blood of the impure will run like wine".
4.The nation "murderova" has the motto "Kill" (I'm not sure about this one being illegal).

Thanks very much for your kind attention."

Can I kindly ask what did I get wrong and why there wasn't any action (if indeed there wasn't)? I'm pretty sure that at least the call for torturing and killing another player on the basis of him being a Jew is pretty illegal.

They usually don't respond to those; a deletion or changed motto/flag or lack thereof is the usual way of finding out if it was addressed or not.

I figured that, and didn't expect an answer. The problem is that nothing changed, so I thought there's something wrong in my complaint.

According to game's server time --
Task came in: Thu Nov 23 13:51:16 2006
Task taken care of: Thu Nov 23 15:26:16 2006

We don't contact reporting nations; we act where appropriste.. I think you should actually look at the RMB of White Islands because most assuredly, the offending remark was removed from the RMB as part of the appropriate action taken.

Just because you don't see us deleting people does not mean we have not acted, and just because you believe those mottoes are rulebreaking does not mean they are.

And for your information, advocating the torture and killing of any player on this site breaks the rules. Advocating the torture and killing of a player based on ethnicity, racial identity, or religious identity is also rulebreaking. We don't have a separate ruleset for any single group. We are not the thought police; people can and will say things that will offend you and not all of them rise to the level of needing moderator action.

There seems to be the mistaken impression among many players that racism and Nazi 'roleplay' are forbidden ... or that they should be. Max Barry has made it clear on multiple occasions, both directly, and via his admins and mods, that unpopular opinions are permitted on his site.

If you don't like those opinions, engage them in debate. Don't look for a 'deus ex machina' solution by asking the mods to censor them unless they are breaking site rules. As Kat correctly pointed out, appropriate action was taken where site rules were broken, but don't expect us to agree with you in every instance. This is a political game with a strong roleplay component. A motto of 'Kill' isn't necessarily illegal, even if it's in a racist-themed region.

A number of players are actively anti-racist, and constantly pester us via Getting Help to take action where none is called for. Regardless of our personal opinions, using mods as a weapon to protect your personal agenda gets irritating very quickly. We'd appreciate it if you just stuck to rulebreaking.
