The first post he made was just trolling and uncalled for, the second was just further trolling. Could a mod check this, sorry for bugging you.

Not a mod but a) that's incredibly mild in context (and even out of context, actually) and b) you were hijacking the thread, posting an answer that the OP had specifically asked people not to do.
(I'm not sure if your OP was saying 'Mods only', but it's quite a vague way of asking if it is. I'll delete the post if that is what you wanted.)

He asked what you would drink on election night, Nothing was a valid answer and clearly not worth being compared to Hitler and Bin Laden and then being called Illiterate. He was out of line in my opinion. I wasn't hijacking as I didn't take it way off topic. His comments towards me were uncalled for.

I've been called much, much worse than that by people who liked me. ;)
The Bin Laden/Hitler comment is in direct reference to the OP, where he specifically asks that teetotal people don't spam up the thread. If you thought his thread was inappropriate to start with, then you can report it as spam; it's best not to try and force it onto a topic you want to discuss yourself.
My friendly advice to you would be to take a step back from the thread and leave it for now; I'm sure that if you look at it again later you'll realise that it's not as bad as you first thought.

It was still comparing me to them, which I am seriously offended by. I wasn't spamming his thread or forcing the topic changed, I just answered his question. He asked what you would drink and I answered, which was nothing. His comments were out of line, and if you look I made no attempt to alter the discussion from what people were going to drink. He spammed his own thread, I would not have responded further if he had not attacked me.
And no, I didn't find his thread inappropriate from the start, just his comments towards me.
