Trolling, flaming. He yells and insults and flails his arms and provides no reason, no logic, no purpose - he simply does it for attention and because he's a sad person.

This is his second "Kerry said this!" thread, the first one of which was handled by players who explained endlessly that he was wrong for such and such reasons, and eventually he quieted down. For him to start up another thread with exactly the same purpose is blatant trolling.

Sadly, he's always been like this.

Well, I believe about a month ago he said something about him having some terminal disease. So he could be doing this either because of the stress of the terminal disease, or, like everyone told him to do, live his days out with as much fun as possible. Either way it's no excuse. Just don't be so hard on the old man, will you?

I wasn't aware of any kind of disease that induced a hysterical stupor and flagrant disregard for fact and logic of any kind. If he wants to talk about it, I'll be glad to lend him my ear in compassion and sympathy, but as of now all he's done is yell about how stupid Kerry is, as if he gave him the damn disease.

Flaming Eutrusca in the Mod Forum not only doesn't help matters, it's a dangerous habit to undertake.

My beef with the thread is that the thread title has nothing to do with the content but it obviously meant to inflame other posters.

I'm hardly flaming him - if he wants someone to talk to, all he needs to do is ask. As of right now his threads aren't exactly an invitation for friendly chats.

If that's the case, hey, I've got a brilliant idea: Don't post in them.

Wonderful idea. Why even have mods? Let's throw them away. We can just ignore all the problems on the forums.

I suggest the good majority of you that have posted in this thread pay attention to the above statement and try to think before you post in Moderation again.

Frankly, after reading through that thread, those of you complaining are the ones at fault more then Eutrusca.

Whoever said debates/threads were supposed to be warm and fuzzy? You certainly weren't encouraging that vibe with your posting.

For some reason whenever I see your avatar out of the corner of my eye, I see a rooster. But that's neither here nor there.

Honestly I would've been happy if anything had been done. Even if it required me to be punished as well. Thank you for closing the thread.

Erastide, the fact you encouraged him to reiterate the thread is reproachable. There was no point to the thread other than to flame-bait other people by harping on the idea that Kerry was referring to soldiers. His one sentence, huge news post thread had nothing to do with the news post but an implication that the news post, which was irrelevant when standing by itself in the thread, countered the idea that Kerry thinks troops are uneducated, which is an out and out lie in the first place.

He continually does this kind of stuff and really shouldn't be encouraged.

Yeah, I agree - the entire thread was flamebaiting.

This thread is getting closed for 2 reasons. One, it has gone off into spam/bickering. Two, the original connection was unnecessary given the presence of a thread about Kerry preexisting in General. It would have made an interesting addition, but merging it now would include all the other things here. Eutrusca, if you'd care to separate it a bit more or provide some more commentary that makes it a separate topic, feel free.
Show me where I said he was free to simply repost what he originally wrote. If he makes the newspost into an actual separate topic, that's his right. As it originally was posted I would have merged it into an existing topic, but given the crap that got posted there I didn't.

We can just ignore all the problems on the forums.Allow me to let you in on a little secret: If it wasn't for some players' utter inability to play be the rules, we wouldn't exist. Some of us still remember the exact moment it was decided that Forum Mods were required, and the exact moment that Game Mods became critical to maintaining the game.

So you can just climb down off that horse right now.

Teh_pantless_hero, you should really learn something about this, and all other internet forums worth anything:

It is neither a democracy or a popularity contest. It is an iron fisted dicatorship and punishments of other posters are not for the common user to decide.
