If you're not found breaking and entering into my house you have nothing to worry about. Don't tell me it's against forum rules to make an offhand statement about home defense in what is obviously a hypothetical situation.

Technically almost any death threat on here would be a hypothetical, seeing as how nobody on here knows where anyone else lives. The mods do not take these things lightly.

I know they don't, which is why I didn't make a threat. A threat is more than just words that a disgruntled poster can interpret in an attempt to bring punishment to another poster, it is "an expression of intention to inflict evil, injury, or damage." I made absolutely no expression of intent nor do I possess any.

I think calling that a death threat is a bit of a stretch.

When that's an actual death threat I'm the President of America (I'm English, I could never be President).

Personally, I have gotten worse death threats around where I live, and some almost tried to follow through.

That's just an offhand comment.

That's just an offhand comment.
And not one that really added to the conversation, since we're only referring here to interpretation of a NationStates rule.

Not trying to be an ass here, Scaratus, but the mod forum is for relevant discussion only. Thanks.

What's that supposed to mean?

And I thought what I said WAS relevant to THIS conversation. It was a comment on the quotation in the first post. Thus Relevant no?

Thus Relevant no?The relevence is brought into question when an official ruling has already been given.
