Beat me to it. Oh, and several of MTAE's posts may be construed as flaming.
I don't know. His views are extreme but they are consistant. I'm not sure it can be considered trolling.
He also advocated ceasing help to poor people because so long as one has no bills at all one can become a millionaire by retirement on minimum wage. And he advocated eugenics. I really don't think it's trolling. Some kids really believe this stuff.

I say we let his thread continue its always good fun to have someone to argue with especially if you always win kind of like a stress ball

Just for the record I am no longer a mod and haven't been in a long time.
But in my personal opinion, I don't think he went over the top. It maybe an upopular view. And while there is not per se free speech on NS, Max's site, Max's rules. I still think this adds up to a view point that is highly upopular..but not breaking any rules (I think).
And of course I don't know the posters history which can also be a factor.
Just my $.0.2

You can believe it and still be trolling:
Trolling: Posts that are made with the aim of angering people. (like 'ALL JEWS ARE [insert vile comment here]' for example). While Trolls often make these posts strictly in an attempt to provoke negative comment, it is still trolling even if you actually hold those beliefs. Intent is difficult to prove over the internet, so mods will work under their best assumptions.
Note that posts of opinions you disagree with does not automatically equate with trolling. Disagreements are expected, as long as they are done in a civil manner. Max Barry has made it clear that he welcomes all opinions in civil debate, even those that are highly unpopular or minority-held. Make your case without the invective, if you want to avoid banishment as a Troll.
However, as I haven't yet read all that thread, I'll reserve judgement for now. But, this is not the place for debate, either. Let the mods decide.
