Deletion Question

Nations wishing to be restored:

Naliitr
Remmahraw
Rawfonwad

This is confusing me right now, because I'm 90% sure that if a nation is deleted, the forum account is deleted, so I have no idea how I'm able to type this up. I logged into them the day when I was banned. And the message said the NEXT time I did what I did to get banned I would be deleted. So please, restore my nations. It's only two puppets, so I don't think it should be that much trouble.Ah. Yup Naliitr is supposed to be dead. That's fixed.
Remmahraw is alive. No need to restore.
Same for Rawfonwad.

You said it was a WARNING. That the NEXT time I did it I would be deleted. What's with the sudden change of mind and the not telling me of your sudden change of mind?

Philosopy's link gives your answer.

We had a few days of discontinuity between Jolt and NS, leaving nations alive that should have been banned. You stayed alive through a technical glitch, not through malicious intent on the part of any mod.

Well... Could the next time you decide to delete my nation will you actually tell me in the ban message instead of telling me that you are WARNING me? Oh, and, by the way, I do have respect for the rules. I don't have respect for racists.

This is just a theory, but I think that the mod who warned you was overruled by a Senior Game Moderator or Game Administrator who imposed a harsher punishment of deletion. In my experience, mods usually don't decide to go harsher, though in some instances they might go lighter if they acted hastily.

Well... Could the next time you decide to delete my nation will you actually tell me in the ban message instead of telling me that you are WARNING me?When your nation is deleted, you get the permaban notice. We don't have control over that. The absence of your nation should be an adequate clue. Oh, and, by the way, I do have respect for the rules. I don't have respect for racists.
Then argue against racists within the rules.

We don't have any respect for players who break the rules to make their agendas known, and that will extend to your new nation(s). Keep it up, and you'll be 'invited' to take your agenda elsewhere. Permanently.

The point is is that a mod gave me false information about my punishment. I perfer to know what will really happen to me, instead of being told something much more milder will happen to me.

was the warning for this post? http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.ph...01&postcount=2

or was it for an earlier post, and the linked post done before you were deleted but after the post that you were warned for?

I'm presuming, since the link is bad, that that is the "Roll over" thing. The warning was indeed for the "roll over" thing, which I was actually deleted for.

The point is that you were told to stop or else. You chose "or else".

We're not going to send you a polite telegram giving you several more chances to ignore the prior rulings, in hopes that you'll become a good boy if we pet you enough and feed you a biscuit. No, we delete your nation and move on. You can create a new nation. Look, you did that! Problem solved.

Ugh... Yes I was told to stop or else. That was the warning I recieved when my nation was DELETED. Not before.

Just a question, Nal, was it your first warning? Did all the other warnings say, "Just keep breaking the rules. We just wanted you to know that we're impotent"? Or did they perhaps warn you that continued infractions would lead to harsher and harsher punishments? Are the links to the rules not available to you? Were you unaware of what the rules were? Did you not know you were breaking them (keeping in mind that your post actually stated that you knew you were breaking the rules)?

Seriously, are you upset that you got punished for an act you expected to be punished for or because you misunderstood the punishment? And if the mod just out and says that they told you one thing and then changed their mind and did another, will that change ANYTHING?

I can't see what you hope to accomplish here other than annoy the mods.

I knew what I was doing. I knew it was breaking the rules. I knew it would get me punishment. But what could I say? I'm pretty sure most of us hate Nord-o. Sometimes you just can't resist.

The point here is that the "ban" message said this was my final warning. It didn't say I was deleted. So far, the mods haven't agreed with me that I was misinformed about my punishment. I just want them to agree that I was misinformed about my punishment.

To what end? What could you possibly accomplish by doing so?

And I think most will agree you were misinformed, though there may be some debate as to whether that is the fault of your misunderstanding. You're clearly misinformed. Does that make you feel better?

Or you could play by the rules, resist flaming, and not have to worry at all about being misinformed about punishments.

Mea culpa, let me fall on my sword.

I didn't realize when I first warned you that you'd already had TWO SEPARATE WEEK-LONG BANS for flaming before.

Since two didn't work, three seemed ridiculous. The forum account was supposed to have been deleted along with the nation rather than lingering there because of a technical fault. So sorry a software glitch misinformed you. I was misinformed that your forum account was gone too.

Better luck obeying the rules in this incarnation.
