If he's just talking about terrorists and not arab people in general I wouldn't call it genocide.

I think with how it is taken in context that it is directed only towards terrorists.

Although if someone of Arab decent reads that, no one would know what they would take it as.

"Raghead" doesn't really mean "terrorist." Editing your post doesn't change what you said, nor obviously what you meant.

It's sort of like me saying, "Kill all those ****** bastards," and then editing it later to mean, "Oh, I just meant black gang members. Yeah. See, I'm not advocating murder or genocide! :) :) :)"

No. The term "raghead" is used in such contexts to apply to all Muslims and/or all non-Judaic Semites in the Middle East. This is well known. It's an ethnic slur, not a specific reference to someone with a specific fashion style.

No killing all the terrorists would not be genocide. However, calling them "raghead bastards" is only showing your hate towards them in an insulting manner that will not only fan the flames, but anger the other muslims who wear "rags" on their heads. While we can do nothing to convince extremists that want only to kill all non-believers, it is not prudent to cause hostility towards others who have done no wrong, merely because they share the same ethnicity or religeon as those who have.

If he wasn't actually advocating genocide of innocents, then yeah, it's exactly like that. He just made a poor choice of words, is all.

I think the intent was pretty clear. Mods get to decide on this, not me. If they choose to see it as an innocent remark by an admitted troll, fine, no skin off my back.

Well we may all have different interpretations. What was said may not have been meant, just as what we meant may not have been properly said.

Raghead bastards is as inappropriate as ****** bastard, spic bastard, hooknosed bastard, etc.

In other words: don't use ethnic slurs.
