Please... I'm begging you. Cavask, me, was removed from the UN yesterday because a friend of mine wanted to apply to the UN using my computer. But before he could, he erased his e-mail because he knew an e-mail was needed to join the UN and he didn't want to do that anymore. He did it within ten minutes of his application. Then, the next day he received an e-mail stating he didn't join because he didn't have an e-mail. I didn't think anything of it. But now I'm banned from the UN and the region Poland is being overrun by invaders left and right. I'm being flooded by telegrams telling me to find a way to fix it, but I can't do anything except explain what happened.

Please realize how very important this is to me. I'm a Polish-American who lives in Akron, Ohio. I love my culture and running the region Poland has been a dream for me, especially running it for 221 days. I've met so many people and understood so much about their culture from this site. Honest - ask anyone. Without this, I'd be lost at the first "jak sie masz?" (How've you been?). If anything, this site has been a vehicle for me to get to know my background, and I've told many of my friends about it.

That's why I keep sending telegrams and such. I'm sick to my stomach thinking this could be the end of my term for good. And what's worse is I've let that entire region down. Last night was full of apologies and anger between us and my friends over there. Now we're going to lose our region, and it's my fault. I should've not let Kosovo1 apply for the UN, but he withdrew it, so I didn't think anything of it.

I don't like to grovel, but please, if you can find it in your hearts, please restore my UN membership. If you need proof of me or Kosovo1, we've decided we'll give you phone numbers if needed. I'd go as far as give out my student ID or perhaps even my SS number, but I don't know if he'll go that far (if I beg him enough, he probably will).

Please, please help.

For in-game problems, you should use the Getting Help (http://www.nationstates.net/-1/page=help) page. (Though based on what you said, I seriously doubt your UN membership will be restored even if you do submit a request.)

Also, if your region is having problems with invaders, you can always contact a defender organization and get them to help. There are other ways of dealing with a problem that can be used instead of asking the Mods for help, you know.

Are you sure you haven't done something else to get you banned? If your friend never actually applied for the UN and/or clicked the verification email, he never actually joined.

He originally used his student e-mail and clicked "apply". Then, about 5-10 minutes later, he had a change of heart and decided he didn't want to be in the UN. We searched for something to take him off the request, but we couldn't find anything. So I just told him to delete his e-mail from his nation, because they wouldn't let him in without it. He did it, it worked, and now I'm here.

I've tried the general help page, but my computer doesn't seem to allow to send telegrams on that portion of the site. Hence I'm here now T_T

That I'm aware of, erasing your email off your nation page isn't going to do anything, given the application was already submitted with it, and the email account is still active. A second UN nation was created from your computer, and as has been stated repeatedly in these forums, the moderators have no way of proving it isn't he same person, in spite of impassioned pleas and explanations from players.

If you and your friends want to have UN nations, you can't use the same computers to run them, period. That's just how it works, because it's impossible to disprove cheating, and too much of that goes on to start making exceptions.

Since you're likely out of luck on getting your UN status restored, (though if I recall, you're free to make another UN nation - so long as others aren't being run off your computer), I'd go to the Gameplay forum and ask for help from the defender groups out there - regional gameplay goes on there, so you're more likely to get your plea noticed there.

Looks like a second UN nation wasn't created. Besides, to join a nation to the UN, one has to actually click on the link in the email. It seems pretty certain that that didn't happen.

From where I'm sitting, it seems that there's no second UN nation. As an emergency measure you might want to create a new UN nation and have your delegates endorse you, then go to one of the defender organizations, and at some point, when your old nation is de-banned, resign your new nation and have your delegates endorse your old one.

Of course, getting the Mods to actually... de-ban... your old nation, might prove something of a challenge. :(

As a note, if no other UN nation existed, I can hardly imagine how he was removed from the UN for there being multies from his computer ... all claims aside. SOMETHING has happened to warrant removal, whether it was that nation or another, or I doubt it would have happened.
