Why? Whats wrong with it?

Good question. But mine is a little different.

What rule is it violating?

Not any current written rule, no, but it's an attempt to justify self-destructive behaviour. If "should I kill myself?" threads get closed, this one should as well.

And that's up to you to decide?

No, obviously, it's up for the mods to decide. I just felt it should be brought to their attention.

There is a large difference between injuring ones self and killing ones self...for the same reason that doctors are required to report a person considering suicide, but not someone who is activly cutting.

Not a mod, of course.

While seeking psychological advice from the General forum is a damnably stupid thing to do, I see nothing wrong with the thread.
