WTF does gravedigging have to do with my question?

Because gravedigging (that is, resurrecting really old threads) is frowned on around here.

If you want to start a new thread to discuss the topic, that is ok, but months after a thread has died, it is not ok to bring the original back.

Also, this sort of question really belongs in moderation, and, in fact, this very issue is currently listed there.

You should probably glance through the stickies with the Forum usage rules too...

When a thread dies and a certain period of time passes you are supposed to leave it in its grave. After months go by and you revive it, it is gravedigging and not allowed. Which is why the thread is closed. So it has everything to do with your question.

Aside from the gravedigging, the thread itself should have been locked back when it started. :p

Why is gravedigging bad?

Illegal Actions

Gravedigging: Posting a reply on a long disused thread; bumping threads that aren't used anymore.

You asked why it was closed. That was the reason. I suggest you take it up in the appropriate forum .

The thread may have been old, but it was mov9ing fast and I have some really good points to make.

This rule is rather pointless, imo, because the topic is one that is forever, and shouldnt be limited to a time. I understand bringing back threads that are a year old is next to pointless, but why not have them set on auto-lock after a period of time(its a VERY simple option you can choose from in the Admin pannel). It saves people like me from getting super pissed because I typed a bunch of shit, hit send, and it didnt send!

If you really have something to add to a topic that was posted in March, post it as a new topic. Why pull up something that most of us have forgotten in ordfer to score a tangental point?

I have somthing to add to it, regardless of the time it was written, and I dont start a new topic because I wish to reply to the posts in that thread. Most of you may have forgottn, but half of my reasoning is so that people DONT forget this VERY important issue.

Only the politically correct and lemming whites who fear being accused of being called racists would say that. The only other logical explaination would be that the non-whites fear being called racists('cause as we all know, only white people are racist  )

Then the correct thing to do is to start a new topic, and LINK to the old thread if you wish to reference specific points made. This is how it works around here.

And the original thread probably died because people didn't think it was that important an issue.

A) Please don't continue your discussion here in Moderation.
B) Don't restart the thread, it will simply be locked
