I suspect what you're seeing is the server problem (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=500865) affecting us all.

Well I hope that is all it is......but it just seems a little odd that I got a thread locked then when I try to log into any of my nations I get this message.
connect error [/home/nation/tmp/ranksock]: Connection refused.

Well, your nation still exists (http://nationstates.net/thorn%20goblinfly). And I - I'm going to guess along with just about every other NS user - am getting the same message.

It's a relief that everyone else is having the same problem....I have been in NS for almost four years, in one guise or another, and this is the first time I had a thread locked....
