if these (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=500083) threads are considered spam. I ask that because these "show and tell" threads, as i like to call them, offer no debate or serious talking points. All this one does is show some kind of optical illusion.

If we set that as our requirement, we need to simply abolish General.
A thread doesn't require serious debate to avoid the spam moniker. Discussions of non-serious topics, with or without debating points, are fine. It's only when they become entirely filled with irrelevant pointlessness (or are rapidly moving in that direction) that we close them.
