I don't ever remember posting something with that name that could have gotten me banned. However I do know I let the nation get deleted for inactivity and I wanted to log in with that nation's name to edit some old posts and it said I was banned.

You probably let it die on it's own.
Are you sure you logged into your nation on NS.com lately? within the past 28 days?
If not then do what Mavenu said.

Shazbotdom, I've warned you about this recently. I know what you meant, and you know what you meant, but not everybody knows what you meant. If you're going to post advice here, please post correct advice.
The site is www.nationstates.net. NS.com is a totally unrelated site.
