is there a way to contact the mods (or you know just one of them) away from the mod forum about a possible problem that could be questioned here but probably should not, but would be too vague for them to understand here but with clarification would make this forum inappropriate?

how do I contact a mod without using the mod forum? I assume TG would not be acceptable? it is mod business.

Have you tried using the Getting Help (http://www.nationstates.net/cgi-bin/index.cgi/86598/page=help) page? There's plenty of options there if you need to address something but would rather not or shouldn't use the forum.
