Why did I get ejected from the pacific?

The UN delegate of the pacific region just ejected my nation for no reason at all. I now cannot move back to the pacific and am being told that I am banned from there.

Why is this happened to me?

How are the mods supposed to know why you were ejected? You should try asking the delegate who ejected you.

Delegates are free to eject as long as they have enough influence. If you were recruiting in The Pacific, they have a tendency to eject recruiters. Follow the previous solution and ask the delegate via telegram.

I have sent him a message and asked them why they have done it but haven't got a reply yet after 3 days. :(

Not our jurisdiction, sorry. He doesn't have to give you a reason. Hell, with the influence system, he doesn't even really need a reason.

Sometimes that happens. I started out in The Pacific about the time their delegate decided to eject huge numbers of random nations, apparently just to test Regional Influence. One minute I was in the Pacific, the next I was in the Rejected Realms, and I hadn't even had a chance to do anything offensive.

You can look on his or her nation's page to see when your former UN Delegate was last active, but that still doesn't mean that he or she saw your telegram. If a nation gets too many telegrams, it is possible that they'll bump other new / unread telegrams out of the telegram inbox.

(What is the current limit for Delegates? Is it also just 10?)

Asking the person who did this is still the only way to find out "why". But in the meantime, unless you are banned you can either move back or find another region.

Nitpick: It's 15 TG's, and I seem to remember hearing it was the Delegates who lobbied for the increase.

As for your ejection, you were probably calling attention to yourself (recruiting) or had an offensive name or flag (not necessarily delete-worthy, say, an Israeli flag in a Nazi region) or you got involved in an argument on the RMB. Those are the only things that have ever gotten anyone ejected outside of an invasion that I remember, but it's been a long time since I was involved in regional politics.

I didn't ever do any recruiting. All I said was hello on the rmb.

I don't even have a offensive flag (a firebird) or name (it's spanish for Open Your Eyes).

Never even used the rmb apart from saying hello so I have never argued with anyone.

I looked at his nation and he hasn't been active for 3 days (the same amount of time ago I got ejected)

I'll wait a few more days to see if he gets in touch with me.

Don't worry about it.

I was booted and I didn't do anything.

Max told me he has been ejected a few times! ;)

It's most likely the delegate just got trigger happy. Happens from time to time. If it gets to Francos Spain level, there may be a problem.

Yeah.

But there are no region crashing rules after the influence system was put into place. If they have enough influence, they can eject how ever many people they want.

Yeah, even posts on the forum seem to quiet down on weekends. How many endorsements did you have? If you had a large number, the ejection could have been out of concern that you might end up becoming the Delegate.

Even if he doesn't, 15 (thanks Kat for the clarification ... nitpicky can be awesome) telegrams could mean that he didn't get your telegram. Spend the time just checking out other aspects of NationStates ... that is if you haven't already! :)

Like many other players, I've been ejected from a feeder, though at the time I was no real threat, I was vocal in declaring that the activities of the then North Pacific delegate were not democratic.

I got kicked out of a Featured Region yesterday. I went to that region Friday and didn't move to the next one over the weekend, and when I logged on yesterday, I was in the RR. Maybe the founder thought I was staying there for evil purposes. Maybe he doesn't like birds. Or maybe it was my breath.

Unless you have a reason to want to be in the Pacific, it probably doesn't matter. There are still 99,999 regions left to go.

So which region is the biggest region apart from the pacific?

The 5 Pacific regions are the largest in the game. IIRC, The North Pacific and The West Pacific are even bigger than the Pacific. I'm not sure how the Pacific, The East Pacific, and The South Pacific compare in size, but they're all bigger than any other region, followed by The Rejected Realms and Lazarus.

Of the player-created regions, Gatesville and The Lexicon are the two biggest. Both have, on occasion, surpassed Lazarus. Gatesville is the bigger of the two, but, IMO, The Lexicon is more interesting.
