I'd like the post this (http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y79/Goomg/phillyyeah056.jpg) photo in the phtography thread.

I'd like to know if it's ok for me to post the photo, or not.

So would it be an acceptable photo for this forum?

I'm having a little trouble seeing why it would be adult content; because in the museum where I took this picture, in the same room as that statue, there were 5 year olds who didn't seem the slightest bit offended, or uncomfortable around it.

Also, is this (http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y79/Goomg/phillyyeah044.jpg) forum friendly?

Both of those would be fine, Ruffy -- I admit a fondness for the second bronze (Artemis or Diana, I should think?)

However, let's make this clear to everyone reading this thread -- not *all* depictions of nudes would necessarily be appropriate for this forum. This is not carte blanche to post OMG NEKKID PEOPLE. Kindly use good judgment and taste (as Il Ruffino has here) and if at all in doubt, ask.

There is a difference between art and porn. This ain't porn. ;)

Ruffy used good judgment and taste?!? I'm marking this down. History has been made! :p

Oh, and is that photo from the Philly Museum of Art?

I was actually wondering that same thing myself, but never got around to asking/digging up the pictures that I wanted to post.

It is nice to know that there is a line drawn to allow for art:)

Would it be ok to post naked pictures of real people if they were done like those?

Hey, what museum did you get those pictures from? They look very familiar.
