I'm not sure why this thread was locked?

The idea came from watching an episode of Star Trek TNG, which is rated PG, I believe. O'Brian chose the "no" option, I was just wondering how others would behave in this hypothetical moral dilemma.

I don't recall that particular question ever coming up in that particular episode of Deep Space Nine. If you're going to come up with a filmsy excuse, at least make it a well-researched flimsy excuse.
