Please do something about constant threadjackings [UN forum]

Discoraversalism will not cease with his interminable threadjackings about that God-damned Copyright Convention. He gravedigged TH's sovereigntist thread just so he could rant about copyrights: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?p=11440361#post11440361

Please deal with this user.

And while you're at it, would mind deleting the nongermane posts in my roleplay thread? They would include this one (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11440254&postcount=14), this one (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11441025&postcount=15), this one (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11441482&postcount=18), and this one (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showpost.php?p=11441716&postcount=20).

Thank you.

Isn't this the same guy who was told point blank to stop doing exactly this just this morning?

*Quick look*

Yep.

He's been told more than once.

Here is an alternative suggestion ... convince him to create a NSWiki article describing both sides of the UN floor debate on the Copyright Convention and that he can include his/her nation's position in the summary. There are a few good examples of this ... the Prostitution entry was contraversial and would give him/her a vehicle to still talk about it without hijacking other threads. And it would get something we need in NSWiki there as well. :)

Would it be possible for the latter posts of the thread to be deleted/split, so the thread could remain unlocked?

Took a bit of gaming the system (bloody Jolt), but it's been split; both threads are unlocked.

I'm very cautious with this one. There are some people that have failed so utterly at displaying an understanding of the opposing argument that you are concerned how well they'll do at writing a neutral post (simply because they can't give a fair statement of the opposing arguments). I'm all for him writing up his view of the issue in NSWiki, but being put in charge of the whole article to slant it (intentionally or otherwise) in favor of his beliefs spooks me somewhat.

NSWiki is an open content encyclopedia. I never said to put anybody in CHARGE of the whole article -- the NSWiki community will always be "in charge", but I suggested that people encourage him/her to contribute to a specific article that he has a demostrated interest in. If you are concerned about the neutrality of an article, improve the article and document why (there are plenty of forum posts that can be cited). I've done this a few times on the real Wikipedia when somebody has posted garabage.

My suggestion accomplishes a number of goals: it is a distraction *away* from non-related UN forum threads because it is still high profile, it teaches somebody to go back and summarize multiple opinions in a concise format, it opens their writting up to editing, and it gets some content up on NSWiki.

If you want to, go ahead. However, I won't for one major reason (that doesn't apply to you):

"You are annoying the heck out of us and seemed to be narrowly focussed on the same issue no matter where you go. So, why don't I make you the first person I suggest to go and add content to NSWiki so that you stop bothering us"

Feels like I'm sending our shit to NSWiki while making the decision to have it so that only those who have not given what we consider to be quality comments are the ones that get sent off, and I rather prefer to feel I've given NSWiki more respect than that. As I said, feel free, just don't ask us to. You've recommended it before and so you saying it doesn't give the same message as someone like me saying it.
