I just want to make the Moderators aware of the current situation in Wysteria.
Flamebaittrolls, the duly elected Delegate of Wysteria after I stepped down, was attacked last night on the way home from work and is currently in the hospital. Nation States trooper that he is, he actually logged onto Nation States and the Wysterian Forum to let me know his situation, so that I could run his Delegate nation for him while he was in the hospital. It’s times like this that make me aware of how much this artificial online community means to those of us who’ve become friends over the years.
He’s sent me the password for his nation state and I’ll be running it until he’s back on his feet again, to ensure the work of the Delegate in Wysteria continues. I’ve already temporarily resigned my own UN member state from the United Nations. Once he’s ready to resume his role as Wysteria’s Delegate, I’ll be rejoining the UN again.
Since he’s from Australia and I’m from Western Canada, I’m guessing that it will be easy for the Moderators to tell radical difference in IP addresses. I just wanted to clarify this so that if someone checked somewhere down the road and noted that for a little while the same person running the Wysterian Delegate, later was running another UN member state that this didn’t cause any confusion. I won’t be running more than one UN member state at one time, so this shouldn’t be a problem for anyone.
