Two threads to watch

1) There is a somewhat biased poll in this thread:

http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=487447

I'm not sure the thread itself needs anything done to it, but if you could do your editing the poll thingy-me-bob it would be appreciated.

2) This thread I would say is sitting on a very thin line, and could easily fall into unacceptability.

http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=487445

I'm not sure if it's flamebait or not, so I'll just leave it with you to decide.

You obviously are not familiar with the Bushanomic "style"?

Read through some of his posts and you will see what I mean.....great satirical relief. :D

Do we really need more of his satire on this board? Does the thread serve any purpose other than to start another war between the Bush lovers and the Bush Whackers? If it does I don't see it.

All one needs to do to know he's not being provacative is look at his nation:

In fairness, a nation doesn't actually tell you anything about the poster. This nation I am posting with I use just for the forums, and so I play with my little people. He might also have a 'main' nation that is far less extreme.

Normally I agree, but in his case, yes it does. I mean it's called "The dictatorship of bushanomics", it's slogan is,"fool me once, you can't fool me again"(a very often mocked bush quote", and the government is very moralistic. So when he posts topiics like what was listed, it's reasonable to assume that he isn't serious.

1. The Bush thread. It didn't seem actionable at first, and it hasn't gone anywhere horrible in the time it's been open.

2. The Gay Holocaust thread. Aside from the one comment Fass has pointed out, people seem to have posted responsibly. I thought the subsequent poster handled it well enough.

If either of these threads *actually* runs into severe trouble, relevant links would be nice. But as of now, they seem fine to leave open.
