I'm workin' on creating my own website for Huntaer (both the Empire and the Alliance). It basically has my tech research, explanations of the Towerless Star Destroyer, "origonal" Tie Fighters, history, and the like.

Considering it's from another website other than NS, freewebs.com, would it count as advertising another website?

Advertising your factbooks or country devoted websites in your sig and such is not advertising another website in the sense of trying to gain revenue from it.

People advertise NS related material all the time that's not on the website or forum. As long as your not advertising "freewebs.com" it'll be fine. :)

I wanna give a link here just to be safe before I go and put it up in my sig.

PS: There's nothin' to really read there for now. Just a chat room and ~8 pages (2 of which have songs).

From a usability viewpoint, it is real hard to read the blue letters on that background. I would suggest some other method, like using the image as a picture instead of a bachground much the same as I did in my site.

I am assuming since you said you were not done, you were planning on possibly addressing this problem. If you want a proof reader, just TG me and I will assist.
