Whittier---(-?) has started flaming en masse in this thread, and he doesn't seem to be stopping. I'm not sure if anything is actually warnable, but it might be worth taking a look at, just in case.

It seems you've already given him a vacation for flaming, but I think it should be noted that he actually threatened me physically.

If people talk shit, I have the right to put them in their place. If that means whooping their asses I have the right to do that too. And if this was a rl forum instead of an internet forum, I'd put you in your place.

My understanding that is that such threats are bit harsher than simply flaming.

Actually, I have a question I would like to ask privately on the matter. Who would be best to contact? It's not an issue of getting him in more trouble. I want to ensure I don't violate any rules in trying to help him.
