Hey, I'm just trying to get a hold of him, it's important. I let my nation die a while ago. So I can't PM him on NS. It's not like I ever do this..
And I was unaware that this was even a rule? It wasn't when I was a mod.. but I've been gone a long time.. it may be new, if so I'm sorry.
I really do need to get a hold of The Nazz though. Could you please let me leave it up even for just a few hours please?
Peace - Stephanie.

Making a thread entirely to get another thread deleted?
What a waste.

Thank you.
Peace - Stephanie.

It would seem to me that the moderators make some reasonable allowances for asking people to contact you privately. I once posted an e-mail address to enable someone who seemed to need to talk to contact me on MSN, and it wasn't deleted - the reason for it not being deleted was probably that the NS Moderators are actually human and realised it would be potentially very detrimental to this person if they were unable to have a proper talk with me rather than a wait-possibly-ages-for-reply very public NS forum talk.
On some forums, moderators (NOT NS ones) stick to the rules, no matter what, allowing no leniency ever. NS Mods seem to have more sense. Sometimes leniency is required. As I recently saw on a TV show where the Sheffield cops acted, for the most part, brilliantly.

What a waste.
That's how the moderation forum works. People create threads to report (things that they believe to be) rules violations.
