I think your sarcasm meter is broken. I could be wrong, but it appears as if he is making a hyperbolous reply pretending to make an assessment of her along the same vein of the assessments she is saying are wrong.

I have to agree with Jocabia. There is no flame here just what appears to be playful chiding if one reads the rest of the thread after the post in question.
None of the language appears to be in a mean vein.
