I've read the rules. Yet I'm not clear why my thread about talking cats were locked. Anyway, I'm thinking about making a "swapping/posting and talking about funny movie clips" thread. Is it considered as spam?

I would believe so, yes. It isn't a serious/semi-serious discussion. It would become something like Youtube or the like.

If it's not to do with NS, politics or the social side of online gaming, it doesn't belong in General. Swapping movie clips (especially as many are likely to be copyright material) is not the purpose of the NS forum. There are many out there, and you can always make your own.
