Can I throw a 1,000th post birthday party in General, or would that be considered spam?

I'll ask a serious question, such as whether people remember their 1000th time, and there'll be cake for all!

Wow really? that blows. For my 1k post, i went back and did an edit at the bottom of my post...so i don't think that was consider as post whoring...or was it?
