this is completely ridiculous, you must not have a life, to write such emotional ?(to you) telegrams. consider this an end ofcontact. no dictatorships for me.

My attempted response to him was

((um, its called role playing, the heart of this game. I was speaking in character. The whole telegram took 10 minutes to write, instead of spending 10 minutes on aim talking about nothing like most people do. It was totally unemotionial, just ROLE PLAYING a dictator. Don't take personal offense to responses in a game where you Roleplay, so much so that you hurl personal insults at the player. Understand the game or grow up, this is how it is played. This happened after i respond to a spammed offer to join your region. If i get something like that "on my desk" from a random person, I'd start a dialouge, so i replied to it and said why I'd not and critiziced you FAKE ROLE PLAYED goverment for its faults. I hope you understand this and chill out. ~Tom))

((P.S. I don't support dictatorships, its called ROLEPLAYING, i.e. playing the role of a personality of one. Read the rules. No speaking to hardheads to me.))

That is pretty unacceptable what he did. I played the game like it was to be, so he insults me as the player, cuts his losses in the conversation and runs.

There should be some sort of punishment/warning/adjunction/reprocution for this sort of thing otherwise this game is going to resort to a flaming "whose e-c*ck is bigger" contest and this game is better then that.

I hope justice is served.

There's nothing that says he *has* to sit and take what you say to him (or vice versa). He's perfectly free to block you. That may not be the proper thing to do in roleplay, but moderators don't regulate roleplay (via telegrams or on the forums).

You'll simply have to cut your losses and find another person to roleplay with. There are a lot, it shouldn't be too hard.

That's a pretty mild insult if I understand past mod rulings. In my opinion, you should block his TGs. Also, Jolt has a great ignore feature. You might want to use it.

We don't tend to take action over single uses of playground insults.

I was under the impression that flaming was not tolerated on any level. When i read the rules, ettiequette and customs for this site, the flaming issue repeated more then a few times, and it seemed to me that even minor ones like that were to be unaccpetable.

Frankly, I'm not upset or insulted, bent out of shape, or on a crusade like vendetta. I was under the impression there was a zero tolerance rule for that.

This is not passive aggressive, or angry, i just when the board makes strong statements against flaming of any sort that it will not be tolerated. If this is to low to bother over, fine.

If you were that strict, then its at your attention, if you don't care about minor flaming fine, but can you please not make it seem such a strong rule please?
