Originally I posted a thread titled "This man's penis doubles as a get out of jail free card."

It was changed to "A hard problem".

Why? Penis isn't an obscene word. It's the name of a body part, like arm or leg. It's not like the title was "Get a load of this dude's pecker"

This is the exact same type of thing that I'm talking about.

Ah, I've seen this before. I suspect this is because the forum titles will come up on the popular threads part of the main nationstates.net site, under the links. Having the word 'Penis' showing up there would be bad, since many schoolkids surf/use nationstates.

It's a far point.

Ironically, the link section doesn't appear to be refreshing (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=472434) at the moment.

Besides, I'm inclined to agree: do people really need to be shielded from the word 'penis'?

If we shield school children from the word "penis", we may as well shield them from "hair", "liver", "spleen", "kidneys", and other such horrific and offensive medical terms.

Even the United States, in all its puritanical and draconic censorship laws, allows use of the word "penis" on prime time television when the kiddies are awake.

I gotta say "booooo" to that mod decision.

In fact, in 8th grade Health, you spend almost the entire year learning about the Penis and the vaginia.(:p )

I have to say i disagree with this decision.
