A neocon rant from one of the General Forum's habitual trolls, this thread concludes with an insult to anyone who read to the end of the post.

Review of poster's history should reveal a pattern of similar behaviour.

The edit at the end was written because I was being attacked by poeple who very well know my intentions in the thread, and choose to take it at face value, instead of actually debating the substance held within.

You'll notice I was not the one to initiate any character assinations.

And your use of the term "neocon" shows a bias I find telling.

That is the very definition of trolling. You take the fuel, pour on the accelerant, and watch the flames. From a safe distance, pretending to be an innocent bystander. :)

I see, this isn't about this thread, this is about you not liking me, and wanting me reprimanded for not thinking or posting as you would have me?

If your beef is with the aformentioned thread, at least use posts from said thread.


EDIT - I'd like to add, I've called for peace in the thread, so that we may debate with a modicum of civility. Whether people accept that is of no concern to me. Bottom line, I may fly a bit off the handle sometimes, but I resent the fact that I come here just to piss people off. It would seem his point is that you are a troll, hence the threads title. The “aformentioned” thread is tangential to this point, as is his opinion of you personally. Fool.

Well, you seem to be a lost cause, and next time I address you, I'll make sure I spell out everything simply, so you can understand.

That's in the first pages when the thread is already clearly out-of-hand which appears to be the intend of the OP.

None of these are really gross violations, in my opinion, but it does show a pattern particularly when including the other threads linked to by TG.

You didn't piss me off and I not only consider it trolling, but also flaming and baiting. Trolling, flaming and baiting isn't determined by subject matter as much it is by the manner in which you post, so your point is specious.

Apologizing might garner you a lighter punishment from the mods but it doesn't undo rules violations. Also, I would say that any apology is sort of outweighed by a pattern (take it from someone who recently created quite a pattern himself that cannot be undone by a simple apology. That pattern in my case probably doesn't exit the grey area, in my opinion, but yours does (also in my opinion). Certainly apologizing for something that you consistently do sounds kind of hollow don't you think?

Anyway, I offered in the way of evidence all that I can offer to this thread and debate with me is pointless, I have no power here and no influence. I was merely answering your call for examples from the thread.

We don't get to read intentions, we get to read words on a screen. We base our own interpretations on what we read, which is not always the same as what you wrote.

An ex-Forum Mod has called you for trolling, and reading this thread leads me to the conclusion that your frequent belittling comments and snide asides most certainly come across as trolling. If you want to participate in this forum, you need to exercise more self-control.

I admit I have not read all the quoted materials, and leave open the possibility that other mods may come in later with a more thorough analysis. I'm going to limit my warning to a simple "Knock it off" for now.
