A friend of mine is having trouble posting in the forums, he asked me to post this for him...

To Moderation,

I have had two nations deleted, "Turissa" and "Brobinasia" one which was my main nation. I was warned about an offence by moderation and told I was on two strikes and a third would result in total deletion of all my nations. I replied to this telegram, basically said I was not happy but I accept their warning. I then sent a telegram asking them a question, if I could create a nation by the name "West Maura Tau". I then logged off, I then later logged back on expecting a reply from moderation but I found my nations deleted.

I strongly protest against these actions by moderation, I think they are highly unjust and unfair, all I did was ask a question to moderation. The previous incident was taken care of, I was warned, I ceased doing what I was doing and that was the end of the matter.

I like to know exactly why I was deleted for asking a question, the purpose of me telegraming the moderator to ask a this question was not to be rude but to make sure I was following the rules, to avoid being deleted but I ended up being deleted. After all, moderation is there to help ensure we follow the rules. How can this be done if you cannot ask a question?

I ask you please to reconsider these actions.

The reason your friend has been having problems posting to the forums is that he is no longer welcome here and has been declared "Delete on Sight".

His first puppet of Whora Tau, which was clearly meant to harass West Mora Tau with whom you apparently also have a dispute as evidenced here: http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=468378 was deleted. He was told at that time to stop harassing that player, that he had multiple warnings against his nations, and that it would be wise to stop.

He then said that it was not meant to be malicious, then asked to create South Western Mora Tau, to which the answer was given: no. Again, he was told to stop harassing West Mora Tau or lose his nations.

He then switched nations to ask if he could make a nation called Maura Tau.

Clearly, being warned to stop making nations to harass this player made no impression on him, and showed that he fully intended to continue despite being given at least three warnings to stop. Given previous multiple warnings for abusive behavior, including the use of puppets and telegrams, a few of the moderation team looked at the situation and decided that enough was enough.

Corrected a typo of ans for and.

Mora Tau here. Would it be worth my while to request he be given one more chance? While I am upset that this person so clearly wanted to discredit me, I feel that the point is made, and don't feel it right that he be permanently banned.

Cheers for looking out for me.

I'll be very clear here -- this only tangentally has anything to do with you. What it is about is a pattern of abusive behavior over time, with multiple nations, and having a player who, despite being warned to stop and what the consequences would be for continuing, proved unable or unwilling to do so.

I honestly cannot see anything that could possibly justify resurrecting Brobinasia/Turissa given his history and the events that have unfolded.

Bringing his nations back is one thing (Before I continue, this is Communist Italy using a puppet), I can understand that won't happen, but making him DoS is a bit harsh... I mean, i've had problems with this guy in the past too, but something this silly, to be declared DoS for... well, it just seems a bit extreme.

The guys totally learned his lesson now though, nuking his founding nation was the wake up call he needed.... if you let him back in you won't see anymore abuse.
