Can we create threads in general mocking the Prophet Mohammed?

i know there are threads commenting on this controversy, but can we(okay i) make a thread that in and of itself mocks the prophet? would this be considered flaming or flamebait or violate some other rule, or would it be allowed?

No. That's trolling which we don't tolerate here.

So...what about the threads like 'Do Christians know that the bible is a lie?' and so forth that are basically just 'ZOMGCHRISTIANSRSTOOPID!'?

This should provide all of the clarification necessary:

What can't I post?

Any content that is:

* obscene
* illegal
* threatening
* malicious
* defamatory
* spam

but malicious seems to be the vaguest of the prohibitions. i accept that my topic would be unacceptable, but i'm not sure that list would have lead me to conclude that.

obscene can be a little tricky in a legal sense but people can generally see what would fall under that catagory.

illegal, threatening and defamitory are all pretty clear.

you generally know when you're spamming even if it does have its grey areas.

malicious seems extremely unclear. is it a matter of malicious intent and thus you have to look into the posters heart? is it malicious results? its seems to be a prohibition for posting with a specific state of mind more than a clearly defined catagory of what's not acceptable.

trolling/flamebait has some of the ambiguity, and i can definitely see how posting mockery of islam would fit into that catagory. even though it also requires a judgement about intent, at least the nature of that intent is clear... ie to get a specific type of reaction. with a prohibition of malicious content, its seems more like a catch all to justify mod intevention(possibly very necessary intervention) than a clear guide as to what you can and can't post.
