I wasn't calling anyone a Nazi, I was using an example. He was talking about "what the people want," and I said, "what if they wanted a Nazi dictatorship?" as a refutation.

I can't see how that's a flame. The Cat-Tribe attacked your argument, sure, but didn't actually attack you.

Actually, it kind of reminds of the type of reply one would get from a teacher or professor if one tried to make an argument based on something that stretches the point to breaking.

I wouldn't say it was simply an attack on the argument, to be fair, though. It's also an attack on how the argument was formed (an effort to discourage such formation in the future, methinks). I don't see how anyone who has ever been in a public high school could consider that a flame.
