It was already annnoying; now it's getting ridiculous. It's smilie spam, and it's disrespectful to the OPs, and it's stupid. It's...

Enough with the huge fonts, colors, and smilie spam. You are not amusing, just annoying. Any attempt to use other nations to post on the forums for the duration of your ban will result in the deletion of all nations.
This isn't his first forumban for spamming, which is why this one is for two weeks. If he breaks forumban, please let us know.

You'd think he would have gotten the hint when I kept stripping out his font tags...

If he keeps doing this, just go into Microsoft SQL and set the date on one of his posts to like 10 years in the future. Then the flood control will keep him from ever posting until x + 30 seconds have passed ;)

Do you guys also send telegram warnings? It is possible that he isn't even looking at his own posts -- sort of a fire and forget.

Not that I'm at all defending the behavior. The few posts I saw in one of the threads I was in were pointless.

Banned users see a message when they attempt to access the forums. Since the Jolt (so-called) upgrade, this message is mod-customizable. In most forumban cases we also send a telegram, but we rarely do so for routine warnings. There just aren't enough hours in the day to do that too.

Turning a two minute task into a ten minute task may not sound like much, but it adds up when there are 200 of 'em a day. Having the forums down doesn't help either. A simple nation revival should take about 30 seconds. When the forums are dead, that can inrease to an hour. Kinda takes the fun out of moderating.

Bear in mind that many many players don't check their national tgs for long periods of time. They see their nations as the price they pay to post on the forums. Kinda silly, given the facts of the matter, but there ya go.

That makes total sense to me. :)

Though I would have thought that when the forums were down, that you guys would have *less* work.
