He admits that he is intending to make people mad because he expects them not to read the entire post and then reply. He is attempting to prove that people don't read the entirety of a post when replying.

It also happens to be illogical because he made a sweeping generalization that one can disagree with on the face REGARDLESS of his historical evidence, thus most people would have no reason to read what APPEARS to be a history lesson on the Crusades and the Inquisition but is really just two trollish paragraphs talking about how he's going to prove everyone is stupid.

Tolling? perhaps. up to the mods.
but is it worse than the other anti christian threads out there? or the anti Bush/America threads?

at least his has a purpose to see who will read the entire thread to find out what the thread is about. He's trying to find out how many posters just post on the value of the title and a couple of sentences and not by reading the thread itself.

Granted the Original thread did have links to show that the Crusades and Inquisitions were not Church led but lead by the Leaders with less than nobel goals.

...or maybe he is trying to find out how many times he can make one person run and tell in a single day?
Just a thought. I don't read minds, but you seem to be an easy mark at times.

And I must say I'm confused at it. This thread was posted twice before with no Warnings or Locks, so I don't get why they deemed it worthy of such this time.

I admit and intend no such thing. I do believe people will not read the whole thing, and I don't deny that I will snicker quite a bit when I see them posting as such, but I have no intention of angering anybody. That's not the point of this thread, nor is the point of any of my threads. I don't deny that I've said things worth being angry over, but I've never intentionally Trolled and I haven't now (Although I suppose I could be forgetting some past incident, I don't remember every thread I've ever posted).

Again, you have really missed my point. If I meant to do that, I would have said in the opening post "And everybody who posts without reading this the whole way through is a moron and is very dumb." Did I? No. My point is to prove that people don't read the whole thing, and nothing more; the intelligence of the readers really doesn't enter into this.

From what I can tell, the short-lived thread proved quite a bit... ;) For what it's worth, Klonor, I agree with you and thought that your thread was a good 'n. Of course, I didn't bother to read it through the whole way...

That's trolling. The rest of that nonsense doesn't remove the fact that you're trying to get a responce. You could have done the exact same thing without the inflamatory content.

Hack, you're not going to get any argument from me, I've seen more than my share of people 'correcting' the Mods and doing nothing but digging themselves deeper into the ground. All I'm going to say is that I truly wasn't intending to inflame anybody. I wanted responces, true, but I didn't want angry responces and I didn't think I'd get them, either.

However, seeing as how I have, I'm willing to step aside and not complain.

EDIT: And yes, I do now realize that I have, in fact, already complained, but....well.....can we all just pretend I didn't?

FOr the record, I wasn't mad. I just don't like trolling. I believe you that it wasn't intended exactly, but it's pretty much classic trolling.
