I'm really tired of this. I challenge any mod to find a thread GL and I were both in where he didn't end up calling me names. In nearly all of those threads he has received a soft or hard warning to stop. I'll gladly link to those threads if that's necessary.

Saying one's opinions are ludicrous is fine with me. He says it about me, and I say it about him. Pointedly even and I have no problem with that.

I know he doesn't like me. I don't like him. Who cares? He doesn't have to show respect for my opinions if he thinks they're ridiculous. In fact, I'm happy to see him dispute my opinions. It's kind of the point, really. Be sarcastic. Make pointed jokes. Fine. But why must he continually resort to name-calling.

Again, I would like to see anyone present a thread we were both in where he didn't call me a name.

I know all of this seems childish, but he has completely killed threads before, interesting threads, simply by coming with this kind of nonsense. This is a good thread with mostly cogent discussion, including many of his points. I merely want him to stop with the names. It's ridiculous.

I'll admit that I could help the situation by being more polite and elevating rather escalating the situation. I intend to do so in the future. But none of what I said justifies his name-calling.

As to the posit you have about saying I post to links that disagree with me, you fail to comprehend entirely don't you? They don't have to agree with each other, I didn't write any of them. They are what they are. I don't hide evidence simply because it doesn't illuminate the same things I do. You seem to suggest that you would withhold evidence and opinions from us if the tables were turned, withhold the stuff you don't agree with? Not exactly forthcoming of you now is it?

Greenlander should not continue to flout the rules of civil discussion. He has a long-established habit of this low-level namecalling and flaming which detracts from threads in which he participates. He got yet another soft warning and he openly ignored it.

The thread doesn't look civil at all, I recommend locking.

Locking the thread may be advisible, but I think Greenlander's conduct should be dealt with separately. For whatever my opinion is worth.

You know, I was considering not saying anything in moderation, but it really is ridiculous. He didn't even pause after you posted. He immediately started attacking me again as evidenced in the posts above.

I tried presenting the plethora of insults he'd posted directly to him after he'd made the claim that I was constantly attacking him (rather than simply finding fault in his points), but he merely called me a liar and then continued unabated. They are really strange insults, too. He called me a spitter.

The weird part is the comments are so childish that I feel like an idiot reporting them. I'm tempted to just laugh and shake my head, but I'm not the only one at whom he directs his attacks.
