Irony is one thing, but this site seems infested by people who feel that anybody to the left of Bush wants to usher in year zero. If you weren't bending over backwards to accomodate that, then I have done you a disservice, and apologise. I'm just a bit fed up of watching these prats talk about the left as a homegenous entity then throw tantrums if somebody calls a libertarian a Republican, and it pisses me off when somebody seems to be accomodating this crap.

Misinterpretation. It's easy to misread comments that are presented as a paragraph or two of prose on a website when you've been drinking steadily for six hours. As I say, I was in the wrong here, and I beg your pardon.
