Dealt with except for the "Battlegrounds" post (I'm still trying to figure out where it goes) and the "Tygarjstan" post. The last is national background and I've seen many things that fall under gameplay where nations have backgrounds and backstories.

I think the Battlegrounds thread should just stay in Gameplay.

It depends on what they do with it. It's a continuum, and currently it is neutral.

okay Sal, you explain to me...which part of gameplay needs all that made up stuff? you don't need provinces to liberate or invade or defend a region...and not to discuss the evilness of the RLA, an alliance between the west pacific and the PRP folks, etc..

I'm not going to debate this so this is my final input on this unless you come up with something truly amazing that I've missed.

No part needs it. But I've seen play that is definitely game play occur where there existed a national background to add some extra depth. If you choose to tell me that I haven't seen this ... well, that'd be kinda ridiculous.

I'm just asking you for examples, i sure haven't seen anything like it.
