in my humble opinion, Fass could've worded his response differently. while I do see what he was trying to say in his post, it was obscured with what he did post.
that is, in my opinion, what can be considered flamebaiting.
This is flamebait? Whom exactly am I flamebaiting - the silly woman in the article? My douchy supervisor? Whom?
And where and what is the bait in it?

Ahem. As the moderator, I could have wished the post phrased differently, but there's nothing really wrong with it.
Anyone who's been in college has probably run into a professor whose views are counter to their own; some classes such as philosophy train you to argue from a variety of different views. Knowing the other side's arguments make it that much more likely that when you express your own, you can do it in such a way to refute your opponents'.
