I was gonna send this through the request form...

I Love Oranges

...but i felt it wasn't the right place.

i know i have requested this before but i was hoping ye might be able to help me this time. my nation "i like oranges" was deleted for UN multi'ing, which i understand it was my own stupidity for letting friends on my computer and vice versa, so i don't appeal that decision anymore. unfortunately my region has been in danger as it is founderless since. it has been subject to two attempted invasions and i believe might be under threat again. this is why i ask you to change the founder of the region to i love oranges. i beg of you, i have worked very hard on my region and i would hate to lose it to invaders. so if you could please do something,

thank you for your time,
I Love Oranges

ps i do feel bad for bringing this up again but as i said my region is in trouble

Yet another example of why invaders can be such a pain in the backside, despite rather vociferous claims to the contrary that I've heard from some.

Rant aside, a suggestion - have everyone leave, and refound. It's what's usually recommended if I remember aright. Do not under any circumstances just kick everyone out and lock it - that will likely get you deleted, as shown with the rather unfortunate Hogsweat incident.

TG the nations in your region letting them know what's going on, take care of it close to reset, and I would think, you shouldn't have too much trouble. You can, again if I remember right, remove a handful of inactives if need be, so long as you let them know what is going on and why (TG's and all), and offer folks ample time to make some adjustments on their own before taking action.

I'm not an expert - just trying to remember what's been said before when this sort of thing comes up. I'd check the One-Stop Rules Shop (http://forums.jolt.co.uk/showthread.php?t=416023) as well, for additional clarifications.

Good luck on it.

Dread Lady Nathicana is correct.

It is rare for Moderators to appoint Founders, and having the previous Founder deleted by Mod action is a strong factor against appointing a new Founder.

If you want a new Founder, you will need to refound the region. Note that almost everyone in your region must leave by their own action; they cannot consent to be ejected.

Finally, the Getting Help page was the correct place for this inquiry. Hence, iLock.
