I realize you are trying to call attention to this thread to a moderator, but if an action *is* taken, I'd like to specifically see what justified it ... curiousity in the minds of the current mod team. :)

I suspect FireAntz hasn't actually trolled or flamebaited, but he comes very close to the edge and usually does so in a way to rile up everyone else. And yeah, it's getting warm in there.

If you can't spot the flaming and trolling, well... just read pretty much any post by Colodia or FireAntz.

And people, seriously, learn to use goddamn quote tags properly. It's not that hard, and avoids having you look like a total idiot.

First, I'm not sure if the reference to the quote tags is about my post ... I'm not really doing anything there that isn't Jolt automated. *shrug*

Second, the very subject in question seemed like it could go into trolling territory, but not being familiar with anybody in that thread I wasn't judging things based on any prejudgements I might carry about the posters in question and really wasn't sure.

I'm pretty sure he's referring to the numerous failed attempts to quote someone in the original thread. So many that it looks like something was wrong with Jolt, but that's just a guess.

I originally just looked at page 2 (which was what was linked to) and nothing there struck me as name calling (baiting sure) ... out of curiousity, if a player requests you look at a thread but posts a specific page, do you normally continue reading the thread even if you don't see something wrong in the exact page (one of many) that is linked?

Just a note, but what you were replying to does not excuse you. Your posts even if mild where baiting the poster into upping the ante (which the poster may have done to you first). When you participate you excite the entire thread and eventually the debate is lost in name-calling and general rudeness. If the poster was deserving as you implied, report them. If not, then show the strength of your argument does not require you to attack the poster personally.

If the linked "page" also includes data that tells Jolt how many posts per page to show, then I'll sometimes stick with that page. Usually that information isn't there, which makes for a bit of guessing, specifically wondering how many posts per page the reporter is using (which is why we prefer specific posts). Also depends on mood, how many pages remain, etc. etc. etc.

I'm not a nanny here. If someone wants to sulk because they were called for breaking the rules, they can do so elsewhere.
